Researcher at the Italian Institute of Technology (IIT). PhD in sociology, coordinator of projects in the fields of research, innovation and public engagement. Main research topics: inclusion, diversity, gender, inequalities and disability.
Editor and author of publications and books. In the past she has been invited to speak in the Italian Parliament on women, disability and diversity; awarded a scholarship from the Austrian Ministry of Research.
Keynote speaker at national and international conferences on social exclusion and social behaviour in the context of inequalities, disability and related fields. Teaching in Italy and in the EU. Expert evaluator for the EU and other countries and agencies and member of several Jean Monnet and UNESCO Chairs.
