This notice supports Research and Development (R&D) operations, individually or in co-promotion, carried out by companies or between companies and/or with non-business entities.
Actions covered by this notice
Operations that integrate industrial research and experimental development activities, leading to the creation of new products, processes or services or the introduction of significant improvements in existing products, processes or services, are eligible for support.
Entities that can apply
Micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and small-mid capitalization companies (Small Mid Cap), of any nature and under any legal form, that meet the eligibility requirements set out in article 14 of Decree-Law no. 20-A/2023, of March 22, which defines the general regime for the application of Portugal 2030 and its Funds, and in article 46 of the Specific Regulation for Innovation and Digital Transition (REITD).
In co-promotion applications, non-business entities of the research and innovation system (ENESII), including those from the autonomous regions of the Azores and Madeira, are also beneficiaries, as co-promoters, in the case of operations financed by the Innovation and Digital Transition Program.
