The purpose of this call is to leverage the internationalization of the economy and attract investment by promoting, prospecting and accessing new markets and boosting the Portuguese offer in an integrated manner.
The notice takes the form of an invitation, insofar as it is legally the responsibility of the invited entity – AICEP – Agência para o Investimento e Comércio Externo de Portugal, E.P. – the development and implementation of structuring policies and support for the internationalization of the Portuguese economy, with a view to increasing the country’s competitiveness and notoriety, through the promotion of structuring investment and the internationalization of companies, with special emphasis on small and medium-sized enterprises, thus falling within the scope of article 12, no. 1, a), iii) of Decree-Law no. 20-A/2023, of March 22.
