Arquivo.pt preserves millions of pages collected from the web since the 1990s and provides a public research service on this historical information.
Millions of pages are published on the Web every day. However, after a short time, the vast majority of this information is no longer available.
Arquivo.pt Award
The Arquivo.pt Prize aims to annually reward innovative works carried out based on historical information preserved by Arquivo.pt.
The work carried out must be practical applications or studies based on information accessible through Arquivo.pt, which demonstrate the usefulness of this public service and the importance of preserving information published on the web.
The works can cover topics from any area (e.g. Education, History, Sociology, Communication, Health, IT).
