MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships 2025

HORIZON-MSCA-2025-PF-01-01

MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships aim to enhance the potential of PhD holders by providing advanced training and promoting international, interdisciplinary, and inter-sectoral mobility. Open to excellent researchers of any nationality, these fellowships support those seeking to work on R&I projects, reintegrate in Europe, displaced by conflict, or restart their research careers.

Key aspects include:
– Fellowships involve international mobility to or between EU Member States, Horizon Europe Associated Countries, and non-associated Third Countries.
– Applications are made jointly by the researcher and a host organization in the academic or non-academic sector.

Two types of fellowships are offered:
– **European Postdoctoral Fellowships**: Open to researchers of any nationality, lasting 12-24 months, for projects within Europe.
– **Global Postdoctoral Fellowships**: Open to European nationals or long-term residents, involving 12-24 months in a non-associated Third Country, followed by a mandatory 12-month return to Europe.

Specific eligibility conditions apply to research areas under the Euratom Research and Training Programme 2021-2025.
