IBERO-AMERICAN SCIENCE PROGRAM AND TECHNOLOGY FOR DEVELOPMENT

The Thematic Networks are associations of research and development (R&D) groups of public or private entities and companies from the member countries of the CYTED Program, whose scientific or technological activities are related within a common area of interest and framed in one of the Program Areas. Their main objective is the exchange of knowledge between R&D groups and the promotion of cooperation as a working method.

The Thematic Networks aim to promote among groups:

Stable and continuous scientific interactions
Exchanges of scientific and technical knowledge of mutual interest
Synergistic strengthening and coordination of its R&D lines
Exchanges and mobility of research staff
Human resources training
Technical and methodological training
Preparation of proposals for possible Research Projects or IBEROEKA Innovation Projects
Actions of dissemination and technological transfer between different groups or entities, as long as they are technically, economically and commercially viable
