This initiative is aimed at researchers, integrated or not in the country’s universities and polytechnic institutes, and aims to support the carrying out of a research project, which may or may not be linked to the preparation of degree tests in university life.
The themes of the areas can focus on the past, the history of these domains, the challenges facing their development and even on the human and social conditions in which they occurred and should develop. They should also have the former CUF Group and its past companies, or those that gave continuity to it, as the initial source of their studies.
The Foundation invited BCSD Portugal, COTEC Portugal and Universidade NOVA de Lisboa to be partners in this initiative.
Three national tenders will be opened. BCSD Portugal: Alfredo da Silva and Entrepreneurship; COTEC Portugal: Technological Innovation, Mobility and Industry; NOVA University of Lisbon: Sustainability in Health.
A jury will be set up for each of these areas, which will assess the applications and choose the winning proposal to support the award.
The prizes will be handed over in a public ceremony.
The delivery of the prize amount will be phased in, according to monitoring reports on its evolution.
