The Carnegie Mellon Portugal Program (CMU Portugal), with the support of the Foundation for Science and Technology, would like to inform you that applications are now open for the 4th edition of the Affiliated Doctoral Programs, in which up to 12 mixed doctoral scholarships will be made available. Eligible candidates will be those who are enrolled or intend to enroll for the next academic year in Doctoral Programs belonging to Portuguese Higher Education Institutions, and who submit applications related to the following areas: Machine Learning, Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering and Public Policy, Software Engineering, Person-Machine Interaction, Spoken Language Technologies, Robotics and Societal Computing. Applications with a link to a technology company will be highly valued. Through the Affiliated Doctoral Programs, students will have access to a grant that will finance up to 4 years of their doctoral studies, including up to 1 year of research on the thesis at Carnegie Mellon University.
