In this session, Beatriz Flamia will share her experience in mobility programs and international scientific cooperation, showing how these opportunities can open doors to innovative projects and global research networks. Topics such as access to scholarships and support programs, strategies for successful applications to universities and centers of excellence, and how international research can drive academic and professional growth will be explored.

It will be an excellent opportunity for young researchers and curious students to discover best practices, funding sources, and inspiring paths that can transform their future in science and research.

Beatriz Flamia Azevedo has a doctorate in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University of Minho (Portugal), a master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança (Portugal) and a degree in Control and Automation Engineering from the Federal Technological University of Paraná (Brazil). Since 2019, she has been working as a researcher at the Center for Research in Digitalization and Intelligent Robotics (CeDRI-IPB). She is a multidisciplinary researcher, having participated in several research projects, and is the author or co-author of several scientific articles, book chapters and publications in conference acts. His research interests include optimization, mathematical modeling, machine learning, recommendation systems and promotion of STEM areas.
