IMFAHE’s Platform of Talent 2026–2027

CALL FOR THE SELECTION OF STUDENTS AND PROFESSORS FROM POLYTECHNIC UNIVERSITY OF BRAGANÇA

The Polytechnic University of Bragança (UPB), in collaboration with the STEP project and the International Mentoring Foundation for the Advancement of Higher Education (IMFAHE), announces the opening of applications for participation in the IMFAHE 2026–2027 Talent Platform.

This program is part of an international innovation network that promotes interaction between students, faculty, and professionals from leading institutions such as Harvard, MIT, Princeton, and Google, among others.

Participants will have access to the IMFAHE Connects platform, where they can network, work in multidisciplinary teams, participate in idea contests (Nodal Award-Global Entrepreneurship Competition), and participate in the IMFAHE International Innovation Camp 2027.

In the 2026–2027 academic year, ten students and ten faculty members from the UPB Biomedicine and Engineering fields will be selected.

Eligible students: bachelor’s (last year), master’s, or doctoral students. Will benefit from international mentoring (International Mentor Program – IMP), the possibility of scholarships such as the Portugal Global Fellowship and Women in STEM, and opportunities for advancement at international centers of excellence. Important note for 2026–2027: This year, students should not submit a cover letter, but rather complete the Student Motivation Form, available at: https://cloud.ipb.pt/f/cd2a983ad9e44db2b76a/ 

Selected professors/researchers: international training (IPDP – International Professional Development Program for Professors) and networking and scientific collaboration activities.
