We are pleased to announce the selected participants of the IMFAHE’s Platform of Talent.
This year’s selection process received 22 student applications and 5 professors from candidates across the fields of Biomedicine and Engineering.
10 students and 5 professors were selected after the evaluation of a selected committee. The results are available at the Minute (PDF document below). The contestation of the results can be done in the next 3 days (until November 15, 23h59 WET), through the email step@ipb.pt.
Each participant will receive a mentorship program, the possibility of mobility and innovation programs, gaining the opportunity to create connections among international networks and receive a global career accelerator experience to empower them to change the world with their work and ideas.
About the Program:
The Polytechnic Institute of Bragança (IPB), in collaboration with the STEP project and provides the opportunity for the students and professors of IPB to participate in the International Mentoring Foundation for the Advancement of Higher Education (IMFAHE), throughout the program IMFAHE Talent Platform 2025–2026. IMFAHE is a global educational platform where top talent from universities and companies come together to accelerate their careers and be innovative. Read more in: https://www.imfahe.org/
The students will have the opportunity to:
- Work on their career goals with an international mentor
- Win international internships (e.g., at Harvard)
- Develop highly demanded skills for the future
- Build valuable global connections
- Become entrepreneurs and secure funding for their ideas
- Present their work at IMFAHE’s International Conference
The professors will have the opportunity to:
- Build global collaborations
- Learn about international trends in education and research
- Give visibility to their research
- Access global peer-mentoring programs
- Obtain funding for innovative ideas
- Serve as jury members at IMFAHE’s International Conference
