Action Typology
Operations that integrate industrial research and/or experimental development activities, leading to the creation of new products, processes or systems or the introduction of significant improvements to existing products, processes or systems, are eligible for support.
Operations with Portuguese entities promoted within the scope of the following European initiatives of the EUREKA Network should be covered:
Cluster projects and EUREKA Network projects (including projects participating in GLOBALSTARS calls and Multilateral calls);
EUROSTARS Program, from the European Innovative SMEs Partnership of the EUREKA Network.
Nature of Beneficiaries
Micro, small and medium-sized companies (SMEs) and small-medium capitalization companies (Small Mid Cap), of any nature and in any legal form, with organized accounting, that meet the eligibility requirements set out in article 14 of the Decree -Law No. 20-A/2023, of March 22, which defines the general application regime for Portugal 2030 and its respective Funds, and in article 46 of the Specific Innovation and Digital Transition Regulation (REITD).
In the applications presented in co-promotion, non-business entities of the research and innovation system (ENESII) also benefit as co-promoters, including those from the autonomous regions of the Azores and Madeira, in the case of operations financed by the Innovation and Digital Transition Program.
Application Period
The application period begins on 10/31/2023, with the analysis and decision made according to the following phases:
Phase 1: 15/12/2023 (7 pm) – for candidates who registered their aid request through Notice No. 01/RPA/2022 and for new applications
Phase 2: 02/15/2024 (7 pm) – for candidates who registered their aid request through Notice No. 01/RPA/2022 and for new applications
Phase 3: 15/05/2024 (7 pm) – for new applications
Phase 4: 09/30/2024 (7 pm) – for new applications
