About

Bruno Costa received a B.Sc. degree in Informatic Engineering from the Instituto Politécnico de Bragança (IPB) in Portugal from 2014 to 2018. Received his master degree in Informatic Systems in 2020, his master degree in Innovation of Products and Processes in 2022. He participated in the project SelfMed, funded by La Caixa, with the goal of developing an automatic pill dispenser. The project has as partners OldCare and IPB, represented by Research Center in Digitization and Intelligent Robotics (CeDRI). At the present, he is a researcher at Research Centre in Digitalization and Intelligent Robotics (CeDRI) – Polytechnic Institute of Bragança, and a PhD student of the Doctoral Program in Intelligent and Adaptable Software Systems, in the University of Vigo. Furthermore, he is the promoter of the project Balvia Ecosystems, which further develops and exploits the results of the SelfMed project.
